I know nothing of this family.  The will is included here because I suspect that the Elizabeth WINDEATT who made her will in 1766 was previously married to John BRABANT and is the Elizabeth referred to as his wife in this will.

SUMMARY

Elizabeth BRABANT	dear wife	an Annuity of Twenty Pounds per Annum during her Life to be paid her by even Quarterly Payments and thereby Charge and incumber my Real and Personal Estate  a Legacy of Fifty Pounds in Cash and one hundred and fifty Pounds due to me on Bond from Humphry SAVERY Esquire both which Legacies I revoke and make void in Case my said Wife, her Testators or Administrators shall ever Claim or demand the Moiety of the product of her portion under our Marrige Settlement  all such Household Goods as she brought with her or was called her own at our Marriage
Mary HOOKEY's Daughters	my sister	Fifty pounds a pair
John BAILY	my Cousin	all my Real Estate whatsoever or whereseover  all the residue of my Personal Estate and Effects  and appointed Sole Executor asked to kindly entertain and provide for my said Wife as long as she thinks proper to tarry with him as a Boarder

I John BRABANT of Plymouth in the County of Devon Merchant being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding do make and publish this my last Will and Testament do hereby dispose of my real and personal Estate in manner following that is to Say I give to my dear Wife Elizabeth BRABANT an Annuity of Twenty Pounds per Annum during her Life to be paid her by even Quarterly Payments and thereby Charge and incumber my Real and Personal Estate with the true and faithfull Payment thereof upon the Condition hereinafter mentioned I also give her a Legacy of Fifty Pounds in Cash and one hundred and fifty Pounds due to me on Bond from Humphry SAVERY Esquire both which Legacies I revoke and make void in Case my said Wife, her Testators or Administrators shall ever Claim or demand the Moiety of the product of her portion under our Marriage Settlement or any part thereof my Will and meaning being that the said Legacys hereby given her shall be deemed and taken to be in lieu and satisfaction thereof I also give my said Wife all such Household Goods as she brought with her or was called her own at our Marriage and it is my earnest desire that my Executor do kindly entertain and provide for my said Wife as long as she thinks proper to tarry with him as a Boarder Item I give to my Sister Mary HOOKEY's Daughters the Sum of Fifty pounds a pair to be paid them respectively within a Twelve Month next after my Death Item I give and devise to my Cousin John BAILY his Heirs and assigns forever all my Real Estate whatsoever or whereseover and do also give and bequeath to the said John BAILY all the residue of my Personal Estate and Effects and do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint him the said John Baily Sole Executor of this my last Will hereby revoking all former and other Wills whatsoever in Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this Twenty third day of November one thousand seven hundred and fifty two. My Meaning is that my Wife shall not pay for her Board as long as she continues with my Cousin John BAILY

Signed Sealed Published and Delivered by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have Subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereto in his presence and at his Request the Words third and my meaning is that my Wife shall not pay for board as long as she continues with my Cousin John BAILEY being first inserted Eliz. ELLERY Eliza WELDON Elias LANG

This Will was proved at London the seventh Day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty three before the Right Honourable Sir George LEE Knight Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of John BAILY Sole Executor named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the Deceased being first Sworn by Commission duly to administer.
