FAMILY
We know very little of this family. The Will is not a lot of help as it only names her daughter. If you have any further information about this family please leave a message on the MESSAGE BOARD.
Below is a speculative family tree compiled from IGI data and the index of apprenticeship indentures (see my apprentices page). There were four apprentices bound to Richard WINDEATT of Modbury between 1793 and 1812 (John TIPPETT, Ann STEPHENS, Mary MORTIMORE, William BOLT) and two of them (Ann STEPHENS and Mary MORTIMORE) were assigned to his widow, Dorothy, in 1814. She was also assigned Mary LUSCOMBE who had been apprenticed to William WILLIAMS, yeoman, in 1809. Dorothy is named as "widow and administratrix" which is puzzling?
