MONDAY - Before J. BELFIELD, Esq., Chairman: J. HACK, Esq. and the Rev. T. KITSON
JOHN WINDEATT, baker, Lower Union-street; 2lb. weight deficient 8 dr. Fined 17s. 6d., including costs. The wife of the defendant stated to the Bench, that the weight complained of was only used to keep the door open, and Mr. KILBY having testified that it was the first offence, and that the other weights in defendant's possession were not deficient, the penalty was remitted.
